Tour the amazing island of Sicily on this 10-day adventure. Sicily offers over 3,000 years of history, architecture, natural wonders and gastronomic delights. We start our tour in the city of Palermo and then make our way around the island visiting clifftop villages, witnessing ancient marine traditions, experiencing the Greek temples. The tour ends on the east side of the island, enjoying the resort town Taormina, Mount Etna, and the coastal area.
We will meet in the afternoon for a leisurely walk around the city to orient ourselves. Along the way we will see some of the principal monuments of the city.
We will have a local expert take us through some of the highlights that Palermo has to offer. You will have time in the afternoon to wonder and discover on your own.
Today we will visit some of the highlights of the western coast of Sicily, this includes an ancient village perched 700 meters overlooking the sea and a visit to an ancient tuna fishery. We will end the day a resort near Marsala
We will visit a renowned winery in the region as well as a fascinating organic production of salt. In the afternoon there is free time to visit the town of Marsala, or just enjoy the amenities of the resort.
On the way to the spa hotel, located right on the site of the Valley of the Temples, we will stop at hidden wonder of inland Sicily and enjoy lunch at a seaside restaurant. We will arrive in time to visit the temples at sunset with a private guide.
After a leisurely morning at the spa, we will make our way to the resort town, Taormina. We will stop for lunch and a visit to yet another wonder of inland Sicily
Today will be your day to explore the beautiful resort town of Taormina.
Together with a local expert and geologist, we will discover Etna and dine on the delicious products of its fertile ground. Later we will make our way to Siracusa, the baroque capital of Sicily.
Today we will have a private guide show us around the highlights of Siracusa in the morning. The afternoon will be yours to enjoy
